Privacy Policy

Plain language about what we collect when you ask for a quote or browse this site, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.

Effective date: October 1, 2026. Last updated: October 5, 2026. This policy applies to cleanpandas.com and to the quote forms, phone line and email address through which Cleanpandas Nettoyage inc. ("Clean Pandas", "we") communicates with you.

1. Who is responsible

Cleanpandas Nettoyage inc. is a commercial cleaning company based in Montréal, Québec. Under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, the person in charge of the protection of personal information is the management of Cleanpandas Nettoyage inc. You can reach that person at contact@cleanpandas.com (subject line "Privacy") or at 438-800-7685.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote: your name, business name, phone number, work email, the type and approximate size of your facility, the cleaning frequency you want, and anything you write in the message field.
When you call, email or message us: the contact details and content you provide.

Information collected automatically

Technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page and the site or advertisement that referred you.
Advertising identifiers attached to the link you clicked (for example Google or Meta click identifiers and campaign parameters) and, if you accepted cookies, the Meta Pixel browser identifier. They are stored with your quote request so we can tell which campaign brought you to us.

3. Why we use it

To answer your quote request, schedule a walkthrough and provide the services you ask for.
To manage our relationship with you as a client, including invoicing and service follow-up.
To measure how our website and advertising perform, so we can improve them.
To measure and improve our Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads. When you send a quote request, we send Meta your name, email address and phone number in hashed form (converted into a code, never in readable form), with your IP address, browser type and any Meta click identifier. If we later find that your request fits our services, we send Meta a "qualified lead" signal linked to the same codes. Meta uses this to tell us which ads bring requests and to show our ads to businesses more likely to need us. You agree to this when you send the form, as stated in the note at the bottom of the form page; you can withdraw that consent at any time (section 8).
To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we make no decision based exclusively on automated processing that has a legal or significant effect on you.

4. Cookies and consent

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. The site works either way.

Necessary: the record of your cookie choice, stored in your browser for 12 months.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4, used to count visits and understand which pages are useful. If your quote request later becomes a qualified lead or a client, we send Google Analytics a signal of that stage, linked to the same browser identifier. Enabled only if you accept.
Advertising: Google Ads conversion measurement (when you send a quote request, this includes your email address and phone number in hashed form, so Google can match the request to an ad click) and remarketing, and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram ad measurement). Enabled only if you accept. If you refuse, Google's tags run in a consent-aware mode that sets no cookies and sends no identifiers.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing your browser's site data.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes above:

Web3Forms, which delivers quote-form submissions to our inbox.
Supabase, which stores quote requests in our client database, hosted in Canada (Montréal).
Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram), for advertising measurement as described in section 3.
Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads), for measurement and advertising, subject to your consent.
Vercel, which hosts this website.
Our email and business-software providers.

Some of these providers store data outside Québec, mainly in the United States. Before using them we assess the privacy risks as the law requires. Information held outside Québec may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

6. How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not become a contract: 24 months after our last exchange.
Client records: for the duration of the relationship, then as long as tax and legal rules require.
Analytics data: 14 months, Google Analytics' default.
Your cookie choice: 12 months.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it to serve you, and we rely on reputable providers with their own security programmes. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned, as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or, where applicable, obtain it in a structured, commonly used technological format. Write to contact@cleanpandas.com; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

9. Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
